COCCYX CUSHION PROS:
> There are many customer reviews of the Coccyx Cushion claiming less rear-end & back pain while using. It does appear to work.
> Really easy to use – just sit on it
> Very effective for cushioning rear to prevent or relieve butt pain
> There is a great variety to choose from if you’re willing to buy posture seat cushions online.
COCCYX CUSHION CONS:
> Effectiveness for lower back pain relief is highly questionable
If you’re using this product for relief or prevention of a sore butt from sitting too long, then it’s highly effective. However, if you’re considering this product for low back pain you’re probably going to be disappointed because this coccyx cushion does nothing to correct your posture while sitting; which means you’ll still have low back pain. Unlike the Coccyx cushion, the BODY-ALINE permanently corrects poor posture with one simple motion in just minutes a day to relieve low back pain. Nevertheless, use of the BODY-ALINE along with Coccyx cushion is a good combination for overall pain relief. Many have asked the questions: “Do orthopedic seat cushions work?” and “Do beaded seat cushions work?” This analysis summarizes why, in our opinion, the BODY-ALINE is a better & more effective back pain solution compared to even the best orthopedic seat cushions for back pain, although they both can work well together.
A Personal Review of the Coccyx Seat Sacral Cushion from BODY-ALINE Co-Inventor Jason Bowman…
The Coccyx cushion works well for butt pain but not for back pain. I think that’s obvious. If it makes you feel better then use it. But if you’ve got constant low back pain, the BODY-ALINE is a far more sensible solution.
