YOGA FOR BACK PAIN PROS:
> Can be very effective for lower back pain. Does appear to work in many cases.
> Burns calories, so weight loss is an added benefit
YOGA FOR BACK PAIN CONS:
> Should be done under the supervision of an expert for optimum safety, especially for those people with chronically bad backs.
> There is a chance for injury if improper form is used.
> Requires dedication. Most won’t commit to 2 – 3 (45 minute) sessions a week.
Yoga Versus the BODY-ALINE for Back Pain:
Yoga is valuable for overall flexibility & can be very effective for lower back pain relief. However, the cold reality of most exercise programs that require 2 – 3 hours per week is that most well-intentioned people eventually quit these time-consuming exercise programs. As evidence of this, look no further than commercial gyms who would have a big problem if everyone who bought a gym membership decided to show up during a particular week. Many of these gyms would have to build more buildings. They rely on the fact that only 10%-15% of their members will actually show up on a consistent basis. Even if you buy Yoga for back pain dvds to do at home, chances are they’ll be collecting dust within a month. The BODY-ALINE is far superior for back pain because it only requires a fraction of the time when compared to Yoga & ZERO instruction. Many have asked the questions: “Does Yoga help relieve back pain?” and “Does Yoga cure back pain?” This analysis summarizes why, in our opinion, the BODY-ALINE is a better & more effective back pain solution compared to even the best yoga poses & exercises for back pain & spine pain.
A Personal Review of Yoga Poses & Exercises for Relieving Back Pain from BODY-ALINE Co-Inventor Jason Bowman…
I’ve done Yoga on occasion just for the fun of it & I believe it’s a great way to enhance flexibility & range of motion of joints, along with burning a few calories. For those who stick with it, Yoga can do wonders for your posture. In particular the Cobra Pose. If you enjoy Yoga then, by all means, do it. But, bear in mind, you have to stay dedicated in order to continue experiencing the back pain & posture benefits of Yoga because, if you stop, the benefits will go away. The BODY-ALINE is a more practical solution for back & posture for most people.
